Well, State is just horrendous this year. I don’t love them any less, but man, all the other schools have better teams. Sometimes you have down years. We’ve played some good teams this year, though it might be prettier to go the VT route. (Tech is 4-1. Their 4 wins have all come at home, against powerhouses UNC, ECU, Ohio U, and the terrifying William & Mary. They have had exactly one road game, in which they went to Baton Rouge and LSU “STUCK IT IN STUCK IT IN STUCK IT IN” to the tune of 48-7.)
So State played Louisville this Saturday, and believe it or not, State lost! There was one particularly good play, and someone uploaded it to YouTube. Those of you who missed the game, you didn’t miss much, but this is pretty much the high point. Jacked Up x2. Curtis Crouch demolishes some guy, whose helmet comes a-flying off and pummels another UL defender in the knee. Meanwhile, Marcus Stone lines up another defender and makes those cartoon birds fly around his head.
Some black humor follows. . . at the end of the video, State runs its next play. . . with hilariously predictable results.
